What makes a Willan Home unique? Every day we ask ourselves this essential question. Doing things differently is important to us, it characterises who we are. Undoubtedly this is one of the reasons that helps make our properties stand out from the crowd however there is so much more to share.
We are a small family run business meaning everything is wholeheartedly overseen by one of us from the earliest planning stages right through to completion and beyond. With five family members now fully on board, we take joy in working with skilled local trades people and other Cumbrian businesses to build solid foundations for future generations to come.
Some of our connections with trades and suppliers extend back as far as 2010 when we first started building. Beginning with humble one and two plot sites we now find ourselves providing larger developments proposing a true sense of community and family lifestyle.
Time may have passed yet our ethos prevails as we make every effort to construct to the highest standard using quality locally sourced materials. From natural sandstone lintels and cills obtained by a nearby quarry to carefully fitted British made kitchens expertly designed in the south Lakeland town of Kendal, each one of our homes is benevolently created with the upmost care.
Not only are the resources we use significant but so is our understanding of living space. We strive to provide maximum square footage with great flow and plenty of storage. Offering secluded gardens, private driveways and thoughtful streetscaping is something else we take into careful consideration.
Naturally, being based on the edge of the Lake District National Park with the picturesque surroundings of the Eden Valley and charming views of the Pennines right on our doorstep means we are remarkably well placed to present homes in sought after locations.
Of course, these are only but a few of the things that establish our unmatched individuality. We do not just build houses, we build homes, moreover we build Willan Homes and that is our mark of distinction.
