We enter New Year with our doors open and reflect on events of 2020.
January is normally a time when we share memories of the previous 12 months and look forward with excitement to the year ahead. Yet any sense of normality seems to have become somewhat lost after the recent announcement of a third lockdown. Nevertheless, after a small restful family Christmas all at Willan Living enter 2021 with a bout of enthusiasm and an extra dash of positivity.
Despite unprecedented surprises, 2020 still had its highlights. We completed 2 charming developments in the beautiful Cumbrian villages of Melmerby and Lazonby. Not to mention the well-received launch of phase 1 at Langwathby.
Defying all odds, the final 3 lots of homeowners were able to safely move into Maiden Way Close, Melmerby in the midst of the first national lockdown. Blossom Hill, Lazonby was finished during the summer and it was not long till all 5 properties were sold.
In line with government guidance, construction continues at Hall Farm, Langwathby and some of the first purchasers should be welcomed into their chosen plots soon. Only 2 units remain in phase 1 whilst a quieter launch is anticipated this month for phase 2 in consideration of current circumstances.
