It’s hard to believe that only a short time ago we sat down to write our first news post of 2021. Fast forward to August then looking back there is so much Willan Living has achieved. From a record number of handovers, 10 in 24 hours to be precise, to winning a prestigious construction award the past 8 months are certainly filled with joy and reward.
At Hall Farm, Langwathby the first residents moved into their new homes at the end of May, with phase 2 customers marked to move in at the beginning of September through November. Meaning the site should be finished on target and ahead of industry standards, only 18 months since works began.
Lately, the development secured a Site Recognition Award from LABC Warranty, further reflecting team Willan’s commitment and enthusiasm. The award credits a high standard of workmanship and overall management of the site, including health and safety matters and general tidiness.
It is a tribute to the dedication of all involved. Those running the construction site navigated modern-day challenges such as significantly lessened availability of material resources and labour. While office staff responded to increased sales resultant of a buoyant property market post lockdown.
Coming up next is a 24-unit development comprising an assortment of exceptionally designed 3-bed semidetached and, 4-bed and 5-bed detached homes situated amid a prevalent village in the Eden Valley. Interest is already high so it’s anticipated to be another sell-out scheme.
